for the past few years, there is a moment every year when it suddenly hits me that another year has passed. it's not my birthday, because i will be too focused on hoping that i will get the presents that i really want. it's also not 1st Jan because i've gotten over the new year yay-ness since...10?
it's actually the kindergarten 'recruitment' banners that come up every year around this time. every year i see them, i feel a mixture of wonder and shock.. 'wow. kids born in 199x (now 200x) are already going to kindergarten..... god, i'm old.'
and the banner for 2010 just came up today.
